Abstract
This book is an attempt to synthesize, translate, adopt, and report, in a single reference, the basic concepts, principles, theories, and know-how in educational communication, according to the BS Development Communication students’ frame of reference and in the light of the situations that he/she is likely to meet as a DevCom professional. Although this textbook was primarily written for DevCom 40 teachers and students at the College of Development Communication, it is hoped that teachers and students in development communication in other schools throughout the country will also benefit from it. Likewise, specific chapters may be addressed for the professional improvement of teachers, trainers, training managers and staff, extension agents, and media designers-all those involved in inducing or enhancing other people’s learning, whether inside or outside the classroom setting.
