The College of Economics and Management (CEM) is composed of the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics (DAAE), Department of Economics (DE), Department of Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship (DAME), the Institute of Cooperatives and Bio-Enterprise Development (ICOPED), the Agribusiness Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE), and the Rural Economic Development and Renewable Energy Policy Center (REDREC).

Vision

CEM envisions itself as a center of excellence in undergraduate and graduate instruction, research and extension in economics, agricultural and applied economics, agribusiness management and entrepreneurship and cooperative and bio-enterprise development. It strives to be a world class institution that can serve as an active catalyst for economic and social transformation.

Mission

To produce graduate and future leaders with strong training in economics, agricultural and applied economics, agribusiness management and entrepreneurship and cooperative and bio-enterprise development for the challenges of economic growth and development under a competitive global setting ; and

To engage in policy and development-oriented research advocacy and public services that would promote efficiency, equity, competitiveness and environmental sustainability
