Its excellent instruction, research and extension facilities are manned by top-caliber faculty members, competent research, extension and professional staff and administrative personnel. Its own nature laboratory, the 4,244-hectare Makiling Forest Reserve, which was recently declared as ASEAN Heritage Park, is a showcase of rich flora and fauna geared toward the advancement of scientific and technical knowledge on the conservation and development of forests and associated ecosystems.
