Abstract
The study established significance of social integration in farmers' associations and sustainability of cattle dispersal project. This described socio-economic, socio-psychological and organizational characters of respondents; identified differences in process/mechanism of social integration and socio-economic gains; examined relationship and influencing factors on mentioned parameters. Complete survey enumeration was done. Descriptive and inferential statistics such as Pearson correlations, multiple linear and ordered logit regression were used. Local cattle dispersal project in Dolores, Quezon served 223 beneficiaries (4% of the local farmers). Study revealed animal farming being supplemental household income was sustained through high social integration level in farmers'association; generally at the collaboration stage of social relations. Areas close to modernity is a little lower. Data showed strong and significant correlation of organizational characters and a tenth lower for a socio-pyschological; socio-economic posted much lower but positive correlations. Regression factors were social sensitivity, communication, facilitating transformation, appropriate support, gender, education, household size, building relationship, review content and learning lesson. The study established strong social integration paradigm in farmers' associations contributing to project sustainability. The socio-economic gains were positive and significant but not strong. Social integration is recommended integral part of all development projects.
