Abstract
A budget planning model using the goal programming approach was formulated for the Bureau of Corrections for the Calendar year 199. A computer based solution was derived for the model. Posttoptimal sensitivity experiments were performed to test the model for parameter changes which nescessitated the introduction and formulation of a submodel to gain a much wider perspective on the model results. Goal programming as a decision technique has been shown in this study as a tool in budget planning for a specific government agency.
