Abstract
A system map is an essential tool for operating planning, and maintaining a power distribution system. Therefore, developing an automated system map for the distribution system of the University of the Philippines Los Baños is of great interest. This study focused on mapping the interconnection of the distribution components using SynerGEE software and creating an identification tag for the electric poles. Field surveys were carried out in order to determine the actual connections and specifications of the components. This study yields a map model that displays the interconnection of distribution equipment with a visual representation of their location and incorporates the selected identification system for poles as Node ID. The interconnection started from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP_ that distributes power at 13.8kV to 4 unit substations and 88 transformers. The first two substations, namely, Kanluran and Silangan, both have three feeders and supplies a total of 18 and 23 transformers, respectively. The other two, which are the Pili Drive and Forestry substation, supplies a total of 3 and 15 transformers respectively. The results also show that there are 474electric poles, seven reclosers, and three capacitor banks in the system. This opens up an opportunity to examine the system through the various analysis offered by the software.
