Abstract

ABSTRACT at Ikapati The major farm campus practice was conducted Farm, a bio-dynamic venture located inside the U•P• along E. Jacinto Street, Diliman Quezon City. During the off-campus training, participation in on farm operations was done. The specific information production cost, land preparation, compost preparation, bio-dynamic application, planting distance, seeds of different crops and other farm operations were gathered. Based on the observation, the following problems were identified: water shortage; unavailability of biodynamic preparations locally; lack of information about biodynamic farming; lack of power supply, and inaccessibility of the farm manager. The corresponding recommendation to these were: construction of deep well or other sources of water; more research on the domestic production of biodynamic preparations; information about biodynamic farming should be disseminated; connection of lines from Meralco or addition of more laborers, and assignment of an officer-in-charge.
