Abstract

The major practice was conducted at the Department of Horticulture Fruit Crops Orchard, UPLB-CA in Los Baños, Laguna. The orchard is mainly used for instruction, research and extension function. The profile of the farm was gathered and some farm activities such as weeding, fertilization, irrigation, pruning, flower induction and pesticide spraying were performed. The estimated cost and r3eturn analysis was also included. Problems such as lack of financial support, exposure to chemicals, lack of identification tags and labor inefficiency were identified and solutions to these problems were recommended.
