The maintenance of the turf is greatly prioritized than the maintenance of the landscape area. Mowing of the green is done in different kinds of cut everyday and double cut on selected days while the other parts were mowed on a scheduled basis. Irrigation of the turf and the landscape area is operated by a computer that sets the amount of water to as well as the length of time of watering. Manual watering is done using the hose during dry season which helps lessen the consumption both of water and electricity. Weeding of the turf were done manually also with the use of chemical like MSMA and Round-up to control certain weeds. Specifically, Goosegrass (Holcus lanatus) is taken out manually by the employee. The student took part in each kind of operations done in the golf course to experience and learn how to operate the equipment found in the golf course which tested his physical and mental strength. A plant inventory was also included in the study. This inventory will serve as part of the management tool of the company. It is necessary to know how the species of plants in a landscape area for different plant requires different amount of water, sunlight and practices.
