Comparison of the male and female students' performance in Statistics II by discriminant analysis

Abstract

The male and female students were differentiated based on two written examinations. The discriminant function showed a significant difference between them. With equal variance—covariance matrices between the two groups of students, the hotelling's T2 statistic showed that the higher mean scores of female over those of male are significant.
