Abstract

The off-campus phase of the major practice program was conducted at the Phil. Far East Agro-Products, Inc. from April to May 1991. Information on the postharvest handling techniques for export of 'Carabao' mangoes were obtained through actual training practice in the packing house. The study shows that the postharvest operations in the packinghouse were suitable for mango to maintain its freshness, thus, helping make the company to become on of the leading exporters.
