Abstract

An off-campus major practice was conducted in an approximately 3.1 ha farm in La Trinidad Benguet from March 1992 to April 1992.

The farm was planted to lettuce, cabbage, tomato, snap beans, garden pea, potato and carrots. In a monocropping system, garden pea, transplanting of cabbage and lettuce, fertilization, thinning of carrots, harvesting of carrots, tomato and potato and marketing of produce were performed.

Problems were identified and appropriate solutions recommended.
