Abstract
Polyaniline- Polyvinyl Acetate (PAni-PV A) composite films were fabricated using calendering method. In this study, HCIO4 doped PAni were chemically synthesized. It was them mixed with PVA in different concentration (5.92,25.75, 50-50 and 75.25). It was formed into films and made into uniform thickness using calendering machine. Mechanical, thermal, and structural properties and the conductivities of different concentration of PAni-PVA composite films were measured and compared. Mechanical test shows that 50.50 PAni-PVA has the highest elastic modulus. founder Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy showed that the fabricated composite films are indeed composed of PAni and PVA. Conductivity of the prepared composite films increases as the concentration of PAni increases.
