Abstract
A water level displacement measuring instrument using mouse device was designed, implemented, tested, and evaluated. I he instrument was interfaced to a computer system through the serial port. A program routine was developed for the control of the device, collection, and storage of data Statistical analyses were used to determine the linearity, preciseness, and accuracy of the instrument. The predicted water displacements when compared to the actual water displacements were found to be accurate enough to conclude that the instrument could be used to measure water displacement.
