Abstract

The Planar, Circular, Restricted three-Body Problem was investigated. The basic equations of motion of the system was studied and presented. Realistic assumption were made based on these equations. Traditional numerical techniques, such as the Fourth-Order Range-Kutta method and the Predictor-Corrector method, were used to investigate the motion of a test with varying masses and distances of the primaries. The Exactly Conservative Integration scheme was used to investigate the Hamiltonian system of the three-bodies. The method proved to be efficient in conserving the Hamiltonian of a system. However, exact conservation of the phase-space structure of the system was not manifested.
