Abstract

A survey of the menstrual cycle and sex of baby was conducted on 100 randomly sampled mothers from Bataan, Laguna and Sorsogon who were expectant and those who had just given birth. Deviations were derived from each respondents and the Mann-Whitney U statistics showed that the gathered and analyzed sample data conform with the current theory on "sex control" that is, a baby boy is likely to be conceived within the ovalatory and postavultory phases of the menstrual cycle will be conceived within the preovulatory phase.
