Abstract
A survey was conducted from June to October 1991 to study the mode of transmission of ratinoblastoma in Filipino Patients in Metro Manila. Pedigree charts were constructed for the families of affected individuals. Approximately sixty-eight percent of the cases were product of somatic mutation and 32.0% followed autosomal dominance transmission. Using chi-square test, the 40% hereditary was also proven true in Filipino patients.
