Abstract

The plant practice was held at Xyzco Foods Corporation, Sto. Nino, Mankimi City, from April 9 to May 16, 2012 for a total of 248 hours. Xyzeo Foods Corporation is a commissary supplying fresh, semi-processed and processed fruits and vegetables to various fast food companies and restaurants such as Chowking, Mang !nasal, Krispy Kreme, and the like. Dunng her stay as a member of the Quality Assurance team, the trainee learned and gained additional knowledge. She was taught about the duties and responsibilities of a Quality Assurance member inside a food processing plant. Through the help of the Production Manager. the trainee expanded her skills and discovered what the food industry is all about. Assigned to different areas, the trainee was able to monitor and check the required standards to be met. She was also able to experience and try the operations done inside the production areas. Lastly, the trainee was able to enlarge her group of friends by meeting and sharing experiences with various workers inside the company.
