Abstract
Karyomorphological analysis of bone marrow cells of male Philippine dawn bat (Eonvoteris spelaea glandifera Lawrence) revealed a diploid chromosome number of 36 consisting of 34AA = KY. Based on the relative length, the chromosomes were categorized into four groups. Twelve pairs of chromosomes possessed centromeres at the median region while 5 pairs had centrometers at the submdian region, the X chromosome had a median centromere while the chromosome had a terminal centromere.
