Abstract
Using medical records and personal interviews of 41 Filipino men admitted at the Urology Section of the Department of Surgery Philippine General Hospital. the possible mode of inheritance of prostate cancer was determined and its association with baldness. Out of 41 respondents positive for prostate cancer, only 5 were bald at the age of 30 and 7 more were bald at the age of 40. Based on the pedigree analysis of 41 subject, prostate cancer maybe inherited through autosomal dominance. One-way Chi-sqare test proportionality revealed that prostate cancer is not associated with any form of baldness.
