Abstract

The comparative chromosome analysis of leucocytes of two groups of Filipino males-- normal and effeminate, were done. chromosome number and sex chromosome complement proved to be normal. 2n x 46 and xy, respectively. Arm ratios and relative lengths of some autosomes and effeminates were found to be significantly different. A significantly larger Y-- chromosomes was also observed among effeminate individuals. The probable explanations for the observed differences were discussed.
