Abstract

The plant practice was conducted at Edward Keller Philippines Incorporated located in Carmelray Industrial Park 1, Canlubang, Calamba City in Laguna. The company is currently a toll manufacturer of dry blends from different companies and produces a variety of dry blends, liquid products. The trainee has undergone 162 hrs of training from April 10 to May 6 2012 and was assigned in the Quality Assurance Laboratory where she performed a number of Physicochemical , Sensory and Microbiological testing for finished goods, raw materials and bakery products. During her training, She was able to acquire knowledge on the different quality control and quality assurance systems employed by the company. This program was able to improve the student’s skills and self- esteem .Moreover , she asa future food technologist sees herself as a rounded professional.
