Abstract

Bromophenacyl GA3 and dimethoxycoumaryl GA3 esters were prepared and analyzed using thin-layer chromatography and reversed-phase UPLC with UV and fluorescence detection, respectively. The esters were detected up to the !mole level. The esters were identified by electro-spray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI/MS). Mango shoot extracts were derivatized and the bromophenacyl GA3 and dimethoxycoumaryl GA3 were obtained through HPLC.
