Abstract

This study deals with the response of six Philippine hybrids and THREE varieties of corn to 1.86 kgs. per hectare of CMU and 0.56 and 1.86 kgs. per hectare 2,4-D amine. Differential response (based on extent to which yield was reduced) to CMU was observed among the hybrids and varieties used. All hybrids and varieties can be safely used if 2,4-D is the herbicide to be sprayed.
