Abstract

Autoradiography was employed to study the translocation of trifluralin in soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrili). The plants were treated with 14C-trifluralin prior to germination and during the seedling stage. Autoradiographs showed treated seeds to accumulate trifluralin in the cotyledons and the seedlings in the root system indicating a limited movement of trifluralin in soybean.
