Abstract

In this study, prediction equations for broiler growth were developed using meteorological parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, vapor pressure, evaporation, temperature-humidity index were used, as well as the nutrient composition of the diet, which includes the crude protein, crude fiber, and crude. The parameters were used in the regression analysis using the stepwise selection method to examine the effects of each parameter and create a model of the effects of these parameters on the body weight, average daily gain, average daily feed intake, feed to gain ratio, production efficiency index, metabolizable energy intake, and caloric efficiency. Secondary data from a series of experimental trials were used to select a total of 78 cobb 500 broilers. The experimental trials were conducted from January 2015 to September 2018 in the UPLB University Farm. Out of 15 total models created for each period for the different parameters, only 6 has a strong adjusted R? (R²>0.7). The strong models with high adjusted R² values displayed great responsiveness when the actual data is compared to the predicted data using the created models.
