Abstract
Treflan did not affect transplanted rice. It did not affect the growth and development, tillering capacity, dry matter content and yield of the crop. One and 2 kilograms per hectare of Treflan applied 10 days after transplanting gave the highest yield compared to the unweeded control.
Trefmid was detrimental to rice when applied at planting. Best result was obtained at } kilogram per hectare of Treflan applied 10 days after transplanting.
Treflan and Trefmid were toxic to weeds if applied before emergence.
