Abstract

The practicum was performed at the Quality Assurance Department of RFM Corporation?Cabuyao Logistics and Industrial Center at Cabuyao, Laguna from April to May 2014. RFM Corporation is one of the biggest companies in the Philippines serving a variety of food and beverage combinations. The student was able to learn the different processes and works in four areas of the Quality Assurance Department namely: Acceptance Laboratory, Microbiology Laboratory, Chemical Laboratory, and Cut-up Room. The problems encountered and recommendations to further improve the company and practicum program were also cited in this work. Aside from technical aspects, proper work attitudes, intrapersonal, and time management skills were also enhanced during the practicum.
