Abstract
A Ring Main Unit (RMU) is an equipment which has the potential to provide protection and reliability underground distribution networks. The tapping points of the underground distribution network of the Subic Bay Industrial Park are its weakest because of the high possibility of failure at this certain points. Subic EnerZone Corp. can use Ring Main Units to tape the tapping points to make them more reliable and safe. The manuscript also elaborates on the added protection and reliability of the Ring Main Units and analyses its capability to be effective in correcting the system errors caused by the tee connections of the tapping points.
