Abstract

The Agricultural Machinery Testing and Evaluation Center is an agency focused on testing agricultural machines to verify conformance with respect to the set of standards included in the Philippine National Standards-Philippine Agricultural Engineering Standards (PNS-PAES) before entering the Philippine market. The agencu is currently facing delays on their testing processes. According to test reports available, the average duration of the process is 144,2248. Compared with the Citizen's Charter, which has an ideal time of 16.25, the process is delayed by 127.9748. In order to reduce delays, the, it is recommended to follow a short processing time rule. However further recommendations include increasing number of set-ups, as well as implementing a scheduling software. By this, the delays should decrease from 127.9748 to 1.0151 days, reducing the delays by 99.2068%.
