Abstract
Under the Framework Agreement on the Bangsamoro, a signed agreement between the Philippine government and MILF, a new autonomous political entity is provisioned to be established. This political entity, which is called the Bangsamoro, is expected to solve the conflict between the Philippine government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front. Most importantly, peace is hoped to be achieved with the establishment of this political entity. This thesis aims to discuss, using Jean Baudrillard's philosophy, the manifestation of overlapping layers of simulacra or hyperreality on the Framework Agreement of the Bangsamoro's provision for creating the Bangsamoro political entity. With the overlapping simulacra present in the Framework Agreement on the Bangsamoro, it would also be explained how this phenomenon, the creation of the Bangsamoro and the very notion of peace can be considered as hypersimulations.
