Abstract
The horizontal lateral force imposed by eartgquake events cause civil structures to fail. Structural failure occurs when the structure id stressed to its limit, thus causing fracture or excessive deformation. Seismic analysis id performed to assess a structure's behavior against earthquake events. This study assessed the performance of Once Central building, a 50-storey residential building located in Makati City, by determining the maximum displacement the structure undergoes during the design earthquake event using Response Spectrum Analysis ETABS was used in both modeling of the structure into a 3d assemblage of linear elements and performing th Response
