Abstract
Laguna being the Resort Province of the Philippines is home to over 160 resorts accredited by the Department of Tourism. Using hedonic regression techniques, the implicit prices of a resort’s amenities were computed. Based on the survey conducted, it shows that the mean entrance fee of resorts in Laguna is P85.51. Results of the study show that attributes like the number of pools, presence of hotel rooms, restaurants, lifeguard, slide and wifi connection positively affect the entrance fee. Conversely, significant variables that negatively affect the entrance fee are the number of cottages, the resort being a hot spring, and presence of pavilion halls and sport facilities.
