Abstract
Inconsistencies in the values of measurable agronomic characters of the variety of sugar cane used were observed under the two methods of evaluating nitrogen and spacing requirements. Further study is desirable for the purpose of establishing specific factors for correcting values obtained for various agronomic characters to the true value as revealed by the conventional mono-spacing system.
