Abstract

Of the six varieties of okra tested for seed yield during the wet season, native brown with a mean seed yield of 455.3 grams per plot 0r 18.23 kilograns per hectare was found best adapted; whereas Louisiana Green Velvet with a mean yield of 201.4 grams per plot or 8.06 kilograms per hectare the poorest.
