Abstract

Rottboollia exaltata L. f. collected from three different location namely Central Experiment Station (CES), Raymundo Subdivision (RSD) and along railroad (RRS) was grown under the same set of conditions to study their morphological characteristics and their response to atrazino, butralin and HOE 29152. Plants from CES and RRS exhibited were rapid tillering at early vegetative stage, have more extensive root system and higher root-shoot ratio than plants from RSD. Plants from RSD produced the most number of spikes from RRS the lost.

There are no significant differences in the response of plants from the different sources to straizing and butralin. Plants from RRS appeared to be more tolerant to HOE 29152 that those from RSD.
