Abstract
There were significant differences among the yields of eighteen sorghum varieties. New Grain had the highest yield of 97.1 cavans per hectare, Sapling obtained the lowest of 38.3 cavans per hectare. Sapling was the tallest with 328.6 centimeters, while Darso was the shortest with 167.1 centimeters. Maturity of the different varieties ranged from 83 to 108 days. Chinese Amber and Minnoseta Amber were the earliest maturing varieties.
