Abstract
Out of five different stocks, rough lemon and Szinbat 28 appeared to be the best for Batangas Mandarin based on increase in height , girth, number of leaves produced, and on resistance to scab infection during the third year. Rough lemon was slightly more desirable than Szinbat 28 as stock since the scions budded on latter. Furthermore, rough lemon was also the leading stock for the second year of study along with calamandarin which was replaced by Scinbat in this study.
