Abstract
The influence number of plants to a hill at 100 centimeters row spacing on the yield of different corn varieties was studied at the Central Experiment Station, U. P. College of Agriculture.
Population to a hill did not affect significantly plant height and yield but tended to decrease LAI with increasing plant number to a hill. However, there was a variety x population interaction on the yield because Aroman White and UPCA VAR 1 tended to decrease yield at 3 plants to a hill while UPCA VAR 4 tended to increase.
