Abstract
Vanilla cuttings grown under three-fourths shade and full shade were dark green in color and produced shoots and aerial roots the earliest and the longest. Cuttings grown under one-half shade had much better growth than those grown under lass amount of shade. Those grown under 0ne-fourth shade and without shade were yellowish in color and stunted in growth.
