Abstract

Nineteen soybean lines were evaluated for yield potential and other agronomic characters and resistance to major diseases over dry and wet season plantings under the agro-climatic conditions of Economic Garden, Bureau of Plant Industry, Los Baños, Laguna. Highly significant differences were found among the soybean genotypes for all the different parameters observed over the two cropping seasons except for 100-seed weight. However, the effect of G x S interaction is observed to influence the overall performance of the different soybean lines. G90089 was observed to exhibit stability of responses for both dry and wet seasons.
