Abstract

Napier grass gave four cuttings, and Sugar Cane Seedling No. 199, only three cuttings in eighteen months. Napier grass gave a higher yield of soilage with a total production of 94,493.11 kilograms a hectare, and Sugar Cane Seedling No. 199, 71,558.22 kilograms during the same period. On the basis of frequency of cutting and yield of soilage, Napier grass proved better than Sugar Cane Seedling No. 199 as soilage.
