Slightly higher dressing percentage, thinner backfat and shorter carcass were obtained from the forced exercise animals while the traits related to meatiness were more favorable in the voluntary exercise animals. In the left ham separation, the control animals had slightly higher percentage lean and lower percentage of fat and bone.
