Abstract

The farm practice was scheduled from April 23 to May 26, 2007 and was done at Pig Improvement Company Inc., Brgy. Palasan, Sta. Cruz, Laguna. The student was expected to participate in the actual farm practices done in the farm and to document them appropriately. Student was also expected to apply what they had acquired from the university as undergraduate students. In this manuscript, necessary analysis for the farm's breeding management, population of the farm and other practices were cited. Analysis was done based on the standard set under Philippine condition. The strengths and weaknesses of the farm were identified for the improvement of the farm's production in the future, as well as the opportunities and threats prevailing in the farm's environment. These are essential for the improvement of the farm in the future. Innovation in the farm were also cited because they are advantages for the farm's operation.
