Abstract

Ten-month-old rambutan seedlings exhibiting different degrees of chlorosis were used to compare the iron concentration of the healthy and chlorotic leaves and to evaluate the effects of ferrous sulfate foliar application in correcting leaf chlorosis. The concentration of iron in the leaves decreased with increasing degree of chlorosis. Treatments with 500 ppm and 1000 ppm Fe restored the green color and increased the concentration of iron in the rambutan leaves.
