Abstract

This paper is designed to identify and rectify weaknesses of Symbolic Logic and Deductive Mathematics. It does not exhaust all the weaknesses of symbolic logic for more weaknesses are bound to be discovered. The author cites specific examples to discuss these weaknesses. Finally, this paper aims to establish a new mathematics which is based on inductive logic and whose degree of confirmation will be based on probability theory.
