Abstract

A survey of mathematical models was conducted to identify the role of these models in agricultural research in UPLB. Results show that most of the models used are statistical and computer simulation models. Models are used to quantify relationships between crops and livestock and their environment, to predict magnitudes of life cycles and to prescribe ideal combinations of agricultural resources for better production and distribution.
