Abstract
A survey on the Mean Value theorem was conducted. Its development and usefulness were investigated. Likewise, its special cases generalization were gathered and compiled. The study showed that the MVT plays a crucial role in many theoretical considerations. At the same time, it is very useful in many practical matters.
