Abstract
The Survey of Study Habits and Attitudes (SSHA) test scores of now freshman (1970-71) wove divided into the main groupings, male and female such that a comparison between two moans could be analyzed.
Analysis was done between male and female means on seven scales; Delay Avoidance (DA), Work Methods (WM), soy Habits (SH- DA WM), Teacher Approval (TA), Education Acceptance (EA), Study Attitude (SA = TA ≠ EA), and Study Orientation (SO = SA ≠ SH).
Results showed that highly significant moan difference wore obtained from DA, SH, TA, EA, SA and SO scales favoring the females. In the WM scale, a significant mean difference was obtained, also favoring the females. Both scores (males and females) showed a more or less similar standard deviation.
