Abstract
A new predictor-corrector method for integrating ordinary differential equations is formulated and applied. The algorithm presented is based on the double constraint of maximum accuracy and stability at each time step during the integration. It has a very large stability zone, and is suitable for integrating both linear and nonlinear ordinary differential equations with large dependence on the dependent variable, It is also suitable for use in controlling adequately the integration interval.
